If there’s one thing we love around the SolidLine Media offices, it’s a great piece of creative work.
But the 2012 Grammy Awards showed us something else last night. You can show up with a pope. You can dye your hair blue. You can wear nets over every part of your body. But if you have an undeniable talent, and you put it center stage without any of the distractions, you can own everyone’s attention.
2011 was the year of Adele. Her album 21 dominated every chart and radio stations across the country. She took home every Grammy she was nominated for last night – six in total. The night started with her 15 minute feature on “60 Minutes”…..
She hadn’t been on stage in months, recovering from surgery on her vocal chords. She hit the Grammy stage to see if she could belt out her hit “Rolling in the Deep.” Nothing to worry about……
Maybe she suffers from stage-fright, but she’ not afraid to wipe her nose in front of millions of people….
