The Challenge
Dago Te! Each year the White Mountain Apache Tribe
in Whiteriver, Arizona hosts a fair and rodeo that
attracts thousands of spectators from around the
country. Because of the large crowds, prime viewing
areas can be difficult. They needed a production
team to come in and broadcast the event all over
the rodeo grounds. Naturally, they reached out to
SolidLine Media. |
|
The Solution
SolidLine Media’s production staff has much
experience in the realm of live television, so they
approached this project with big smiles. A crew
of photographers, graphic designers, instant replay
operators, audio techs, a director, a producer and
other live truck specialties were brought into this
remote part of the country to broadcast the rodeo
live onto large LED projection screens. Because
of the extensive coverage SolidLine had over the
entire rodeo, no spectator missed a second of the
action.
The Outcome
The White Mountain Apache Tribe could not be happier
with the way the rodeo production turned out. Fans
all across the grounds felt like they had a front
row seat. The event was so successful, SolidLine
has returned to broadcast the rodeo numerous times.
“SolidLine Media showed us that the latest
in technology could really boost the experience
of our rodeo, especially to those members of our
tribe who have never before seen such technology
in action,” exclaimed Alvin DeClay, Tribal
Councilman at WMAT. “The quality of the work
was amazing; it felt as if ESPN was here. We look
forward to inviting SolidLine back again for this
year’s rodeo.”
